Guest Lecturer: Ruth Millikan

In her first lecture, Ruth Millikan (University of Connecticut) will be joining the CSUN community and the Student Philosophy Society for one night only to give an introductory level lecture on her areas of expertise, including:

  • Philosophy of Mind and of Psychology
  • Philosophy of Language; Pragmatics
  • Philosophy of Biology
  • Ontology
  • Natural Epistemology

In particular, Dr. Millikan will be discussing the perceptual implications of visualization.
