Date: October 2nd, 2008Last week, the CSUN Student Philosophy Society elected officers to all positions, as you can see on the right sidebar.
Next week, we’re going to be holding our first meeting with the topic “the philosophy of war”.
However, before we determine the exact day of the meeting, we would like to ask everyone which day of the week works best for them.
The choices for meeting days are as follows:
- Tuesdays @ 7pm
- Wednesdays @ 7pm
- Thursdays @ 7pm
Please let us know which day(s) of the week would work best for you by emailing the Student Philosophy Society at club@csunphilosophy.com. It’ll take you five seconds, we promise!
The day of the week that most people prefer will then become the standard meeting day for our future meetings. Once this is determined, we will post the exact details and dates in time for next week’s meeting on the topic, “the philosophy of war”.

As many of you already know, we now also have a group on facebook. If you already have a facebook account, you can find us by clicking on this link or just searching for “Student Philosophy Society”. We figure that if people want to continue discussion after a meeting, this seems like a pretty good place for that. And, if nothing else, it should serve as an easy way of meeting other philosophy students at CSUN.
